  ZIMMERMAN
  
  Miss S. Elizabeth Zimmerman, 96, Hays St., Berlin, died Dec. 5, 1972.  She was 
  born Nov. 8, 1876, the daughter of the late S. Peter and S. Emma (Platt) 
  Zimmerman.  She is survived by two nieces and five nephews. Member of Berlin 
  United Church of Christ, charter member of Berlin Ladies Rebekah Lodge, graduate 
  of Ohio and Northern University, Penn State University, the University of 
  Pittsburgh and Chataqua New York University.  She was a member of the National 
  Pennsylvania state and Somerset County Retired Teachers Association.  Miss 
  Zimmerman taught in the Berlin School for a total of 46 years.  Friends will be
  received after 2 p.m. Thursday (today) at the Johnson and Son Funeral Home, Berlin,
  where services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Charles Sigler
  officiating.  Interment in Berlin IOOF Cemetery.
