Zinn, 56, of 332 North Mechanic Street, Cumberland, Md., died last Saturday morning in the Memorial Hospital to which she was admitted the day previous to her death. Her husband, Emanuel E. Zinn, a native of Summit Township, near Meyersdale, died in 1938. Mrs. Zinn was a native of Sand Patch. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Secrist, both deceased, and had resided in Cumberland for 23 years. Surviving are four sons, William and Lawrence Zinn, both of Cumberland; Robert Zinn, Frostburg; Ernest Zinn, Winchester, Va.; four daughters, Mrs. Norma Chaney, Cumberland; Miss Thelma Zinn, Mrs. Ruth Blubaugh and Mrs. Dorothy Grimm, all at home; a sister, Mrs. William Cannon, of Meyersdale, and five grandchildren. The body was removed to the Hafer Funeral Home, Cumberland, where rites were conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. by Rev. J. E. Gindlesperger, a minister of the Evangelical and Reformed Church, residing in Meyersdale. Interment was made in Union Cemetery, Meyersdale. Meyersdale Republican, December 6, 1946
