Born June 8, 1925, in Shade Township, son of Joseph and Mary (Ferko) Zoldey. Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former Grace Stiffler; son, David Jay Zoldey; sister, Mary Polsac; brothers, Joe and Steve. Survived by these daughters: Mary Ann, married to Robert Birch, Hooversville, and Susan, at home. Grandchildren: Eric and Jason Birch and Michele Zoldey, Sisters: Elizabeth Kaminsky, Somerset: Irene Dunleavy, Minersville, and Helen Cook, Virginia; borther, William, Stoystown RD 2, and sister-in-law, Betty Zoldey, Ohio. Retired from Bethlehem Steel. Former Somerset County coal miner. World War II Army-Air Force veteran. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Hooversville, and Hooversville VFW. Family will receieve friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Hooversville, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Wedensday, Rev. Gerald L.
