Born May 22, 1921, in Johnstown, daughter of Claire C. and Helen (Ankeny) Dunkle. Preceded in death by parents; husband, D. Lloyd, and son, James David Zook. Survived by daughters: Ann L. Zook, Charlotte, N.C., and Susan Z. married to Daniel Herman of Seminole, Fla.; also five grandchildren. Brother of William S. of Williamsburg, Va.; Richard C. of Johnstown, and Robert R. of Canton, Ohio, also a sister-in-law, Kathryn (Zook) Bazley of Jerome. Member of Bethany Presbyterian Church, where she was on the Board of Session and member of the Ruth Class. Also on Board of Directors at Presbyterian Home. Member of A.A.U.W. and the Log House Quilters Guild. A graduate of Juniata College; taught senior high school home economics in Miami, Fla., former owner of Zook County Shoppe. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, Johnstown, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Rev. Dr. Lawrenece R. Chottiner and Rev. James Wheeler, Interment, Maple Spring Cemetery. Memorial contirbutions may be made to Bethany Presbyterian Church, Johnstown, or the American Cancer Society.
