   ZOOK
   
    Joseph J. Zook, 65, of Elkton, KY, formerly a longtime resident of Oakland,
   MD, died Saturday, July 17, 1993 in Kentucky.  Born January 30, 1928 in
   Meyersdale, he owned and operated a large farm in the Oakland area for 30
   years.  Survivors include his wife, Bertha Zook; three daughters, Mrs. David
   (Miriam) Miller, Stuarts Draft, VA; Mrs, Eli (Ruth) Kinsinger, Oakland; Mrs.
   Wilmer (Sarah) Beachy, Gutherie, KY; one son, Albert Zook, Arthur, IL; one
   sister, Elizabeth Zook, Oakland; one half-brother, Menno Zook, Morgantown, WV;
   three half sisters: Mrs. Ray (Annie) Kinsinger, Springs; Mrs. Rudy (Arie) Peachey,
   Allensville, PA; and Lydia Bawel, Bridgeville, DE; and 14 grandchildren.
   Services were held Tuesday, July 20, at the Gortner Amish Church, Oakland, with 
   Norman Schrock officiating.  Interment, Slagaugh Cememtery.
