  E. Ruth Zorn, 76, formerly of Berlin, died Dec. 5, 1984, at Shardts Personal 
  Care Home, Meyersdale. She was born April 16, 1908, in Meyersdale, a daughter of 
  Jesse and Bertha (Hershberger) Clapper. Preceded in death by her father; 
  husband, Harold R.; a sister, Lucille Johnson; and a brother, Eugene. Survived 
  by her mother of Meyersdale; these children: R. William, Youngstown, Ohio; Mrs. 
  Phyllis Kendall, Millville, N.J.; Mrs. Richard (Virginia) Tattarelli, Annandale, 
  Va.; and Mrs. Jay (Doris) Whipkey, Jr., Berlin; 11 grandchildren and seven 
  great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Mrs. Anne Kress of Philadelphia; Mrs. 
  Elbert (Elsie) Saylor of Berlin; Earl Clapper of Meyersdale; and Mrs. William 
  (Madonna) Sipple of Boswell. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. 
  Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday (today) at the Johnson-
  Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday 
  with the Rev. Ralph E. Mills officiating. Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
