Mildred A. Zorn, 93, Berlin, died Feb. 22, 2008, at Meadow View Nursing Center. 
Born March 26, 1914, in Berlin, the daughter of John and Anna (Ackerman) 
Holland. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Clyde; daughter, Kay Ann Heiple; 
sisters, Ruth Ling, Alma Huston and Hazel Dickey; and brother, James Holland. 
Survived by these nieces and nephews: Jack Dickey and wife, Janice, Stoystown; 
Linda Garanich, Ferndale; Barry Holland and wife, Carol, Berlin; Sandra Sosby 
and husband, Dean, South Carolina; great-nieces and nephews, Cathy and John 
Dickey, Jill Miller, Eric and Kelly Garanich; and numerous other great-nieces 
and nephews. A 1932 graduate of Berlin High School and a graduate of Conemaugh 
Valley Hospital School of Nursing. Retired registered nurse for Berlin and 
Meyersdale area doctors. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, 
Berlin. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral 
Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Ralph G. 
Landis officiating. Interment, Berlin IOOF Cemetery. Memorial contributions may 
be given to Alzheimer's Association, 100 West Station Square Drive, The 
Landmarks Building, Suite 500, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
