Zufall, 71, Stoystown, died Feb. 13, 1980, in Mercy Hospital, Johnstown. Born July 4, 1908 in Coleman, he was a son of Warren and Edith (Trent) Zufall. Preceded in death by parents; step father, Charles Peck; sister, Eva; brother, Myron; and two infant half-sisters. Survived by widow, the former Frances Zimmerman; son, Stephen, married to Claire Merchant, Somerset; daughter, Jennifer, Columbus, Ohio; four grandchildren; sister, Ann, Greenbrae, Cal.; brother, Kenneth, Copley, Ohio; half sisters, Mrs. Twila Zwick, Stoystown RD 2; Mrs. Clifford (Gladys) Sible, Somerset; Mrs. Mary Rankin, Friedens. He was the retired owner of Stoystown Tank and Steel Co. Member of Grace Lutheran Church, Stoystown, Stoystown IOOF Lodge 372. Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Remains will be removed to Grace Lutheran Church to lie in state from 10 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Saturday. Rev. Ronald C. Long officiating. Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown. If friends wish, instead of flowers, donations may be given to either the Western Pennsylvania School for Blind Children, Pittsburgh, or to the Grace Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, Stoystown.
