Zufall died August 9, 1948, in Avalon, N.J., and his body was brought to Meyersdale for burial in Union Cemetery, August 12. His age was 62 years, one month and five days. He was a retired railroad employee, and was a member of the American Legion and Masonic organizations. He was the son of the late William H. Zufall, a former post master of Meyersdale. He is survived by two sisters, Clara Zufall of Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Lena Kenney of Mt. Lebanon. The sisters who conducted a millinery shop here, moved to Pittsburgh in 1918. Funeral services were conducted this (Thursday) morning at the home of Joseph F. Reich, under the direction of R. Reich and Son, morticians. Meyersdale Republican, August 12, 1948
