Born Nov. 26, 1915 in Acosta, son of the late Alex and Mary (Hojanacha) Zuravnsky. Preceded in death by parents and four brothers. survived by his wife, Mary (Smith) Zuravnsky; two sons, Edward of Boswell and Leonard at home; two grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Virginia Dobrinsky of Quecreek. He was a member of St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Acosta. Was a retried miner for the Saxman Coal and Coke Co. and a member of the UMWA; FOE, Somerset, 1801; and the Jenners Rod and Gun Club. Friends will be receieved after 7 p.m. Saturday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where wake services will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Mass Monday at 10 a.m. at St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Acosta, with the Rev. Father J. Joseph Strittmatter. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. Daily American, April 16, 1977
