+Obituary published in Nyirlugos, Hungary, the hometown of a 17 year old 
Hungarian boy who was killed in a mining accident in Kimmelton, Somerset County 
PA - trapped by a mining car while mining underground - +++

Zelenyák Istvánt

The official Somerset County report (link below) reported - "Stephen Zillnock
HUNAGRIAN MINER AGE 17 
HUNAGRIAN MINER AGE 17 - KIMMLETON MINE No 1 - [WAS] - FATALLY INJURED BY BEING 
CAUGHT BETWEEN AN ELECTRIC MOTOR AND THE SIDE OF ENTRY WHILE ATTEMPTING TO JUMP 
ON THE MOTOR.  HE WAS CRUSHED ACROSS TE HIPS AND DIED THREE DAYS LATER IN THE 
HOSPITAL AT JOHNSTOWN.

There was a write up in his hometown newspaper in which reporter explained 
how “America continues to be a Hungarian cemetery as young people continue to 
leave in search of dollars’. In the Hungarian newspaper report, they spelled 
his name correctly. István Zelenyák. Age 17. So sad.
