Oswalt, of Boswell, and Miss Ruth Hartshorne, of Kimmelton, were united in marriage in Somerset, on Wednesday October 2nd, at 10:30 a.m. by the Rev. I. Hess Wagner pastor of the Lutheran church of that town. The bridegroom was a former resident of Mapleton, this county. About ten years ago he purchased the Boswell News, of which he has since been the editor and publisher. He is now serving as chief burgess of Boswell, a mining town of about two thousand. The bride is a daughter of mine foreman George Hartshorne, and is an excellent young lady, and fully capable of entering upon her new duties. The couple came by auto from Somerset over the Lincoln Highway to Everett and from there to Mapleton, where they visited at the home of Mr. Oswalt's mother, Mrs. Susan Oswalt. They returned to Boswell on Saturday, where they will immediately take up housekeeping in the Boswell News building, where their many friends wish them a happy and prosperous married life.
