In the name of God amen, I Josiah King of the township of Perry, county of Fayette and state of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory and understanding do make and publish this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time made. And first I desire that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall be fully paid by my executors herein after named or the survivors of them, and to that end I direct them to make collections of all claims due my estate and sell all my property real, personal or mixed whatsoever, in whole or in parcels by public or private sale or sales as they may deem best, as soon after my decease as may be convenient for them to do so and apply the proceeds arising therefrom in such sums as is necessary to the liquidation of the aforesaid debts, and expenses, after these have been fully satisfied, I dispose of the residue of my estate in the manner following viz; I will and bequeath to Mary M King, widow of my son, the late DR E L King, the sum of one thousand dollars. I will and bequeath unto Charles W King, Josiah Bascom King, and Jennie Carson the sum of five hundred dollars to be equally divided between them share and share alike, charging each of them with any money heretofore advanced to them and deducting that amount from the aforesaid legacy and turning it over to my estate, to be disposed of as herein after directed. The aforesaid Charles W King, Josiah Bascom King and Jennie Carlson being children of my son Lynch R King dec'd. I will and make a special bequest of one hundred dollars to each of my three granddaughters viz; Mary E Davidson, Anna M McDonald and Jennie Carlson. The one sixth of all the remainder of my estate, I will and bequeath to my executors herein after named or the survivors of them, on trust that they shall invest or hold in any manner they deem best, and any proceeds arising therefrom shall be expended for the benefit of my son Enos King as they my said executors deem necessary and if this should not be sufficient to meet emergencies that may arise then they are authorized to draw from the principal to do so. At the death of my son Enos King and after all expenses have been paid out of this bequest, if there should any remain, I direct that it be equally divided between his children then living. I desire it understood that Polly King, wife of Enos King, is to have no benefit from this bequest whatever. The one half of what now remains of my estate, I will and bequeath to the heirs of my daughter Elizabeth Chalfant dec'd in the manner following viz; to Chads, Mary, Alva, and King each one full share, and to Ephram and my grandson Clayton Davidson one full and equal share divided between equally.
