I Susannah Wegeley wife of Jesse Wegeley of Summit Township do by the grace of God publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following manner to wit. Principally and first of all I commend my immortal Soul to God who gave and my body to the earth to be buried in a Christian manner. And as to my worldly estate wherewith it has pleased God to Bless me with in this life I give and dispose of in the following manner to wit. It is my will and desire that my honest debts and funeral expenses will be paid by my husband and Executor herein after mentioned and it is further my will that no appraisement shall be held of either my real or personal estate but that my said husband shall have my farm in Milford Township with the personal property as long as he and the children can agree to keep house if he should not die ere the youngest child is of age or get married again. It is further my will that as my children get of age and they wish to start for themselves my husband is to give them of personal property as follows: 3 cows 2 beds saddle & bridle bureau and twenty five dollars in money or other goods for which each shall be charged. If however my husband and children see proper to quit housekeeping or my said husband gets married again then my estate real and personal shall be appraised and sold at public sale and the whole estate to be divided half and half by my Executor who shall be authorized to make good conveyance for my real estate but in the event that my husband's death then my property to be sold and after my debts are paid to be equally divided among my children that is the proceeds of the same. It is my will that my said husband and children shall keep house together and keep everything we had the same as before my decease as long as the wish to do so and lastly I nominate and appoint my trusty friend Gillian H. Walter to my Executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other or former wills and bequests made by me and declaring this to be my last will and testament. In witness (?) whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this ninth day of May A.D. 1866. Signed, sealed published pronounced and declared by the testatrix as her last will and testament in presence of us who in her presence and at her request have subscribed as witnesses. Boyts, Register for the Probate of Wills and granting Letters of Administration in and for said County personally came M.D. Miller and W.M. Homer two subscribing witnesses to the foregoing instrument of writing and being duly sworn according to law depose and say as follows that they were present and saw and heard the herein named testatrix Susannah Wegeley sign seal pronounce and declare the within instrument of writing as and for her last will and testament and that at the time of her so doing she was of sound mind memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge and belief: Affirmed & Subscribed before me 26th May 1866 M.D. Miller John H.
