Clifford Twp, Susquehanna Co, PA. Morgan Daniels and his family, and Benjamin (and least his wife) immigrated to the US from Wales in 1832. Benjamin Daniels' nephew, Rev Daniel Daniels, son of Morgan Daniels, was pastor of the Welsh Congregational Church on Welsh Hill in Uniondale vicinity from 1850-1893. Benjamin was also employed by this church. Article states: The descendants of Benjamin Daniels held their annual reunion at Carpenters' Grove, Uniondale, yesterday. All but two of the families were represented and the attendance was very much larger than usual. A very elaborate dinner was served by the ladies and at 2 o'clock the exercises of the day were held in the grove. The chairman was Hon. John F. Reynolds, of Carbondale, and the secretary was B. D. Reynolds, of South Gibson. Addresses were made by Rev. H. J. Crane, of Gibson; Hon. John F. Reynolds, of Carbondale; Charles E. Daniels, esq, of Scranton; William Davis, of Maynard, Iowa, and the benediction by Rev. Mr. Crane. The officers elected for the following year were as follows: President Charles E. Daniels, Scranton; vice- president, Benjamin Maxey, Forest City; treasurer, Morgan P. Daniels, Scranton; historian Hon. William E. Maxey, South Gibson.
