C. Harding decd. And now: February 3rd Anno Domini 1890 was presented for Probate an instrument of writing purporting to be the last Will & Testament of A. C. Harding late of Herrick Township. Susquehanna County, State of Pennsylvania deceased: and at the same time came U. M. Avery one of the subscribing witnesses to the said instrument of writing, who being duly sworn according to law, did say that they were present and saw and heard the said A. C. Harding sign seal, publish, pronounce, and declare the said instrument of writing as and for his last Will and Testament, and at the time of his so doing he was of sound and disposing mind and memory to the best of their knowledge and belief and also the said A. C. Harding requested me to ask E. L. Avery the other subscribing witness to sign his name as such. And now February 4th A. D. 1890 Was presented for Probate an instrument of writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of A. C. Harding late of the Twp. of Herrick in said County, deceased & at the same time C.M. Harding who deposes and says he is a son of the said A. C. Harding decd. and is well acquainted with the handwriting of said A. C. Harding and that the said instrument of writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of the said A. C. Harding is genuine and in his own proper handwriting that the signature attached to the said instrument of writing he believes to be true genuine and correct as he has seen the said A. C. Harding sign and attach his name to other instrument of writing in the same manner. Whereupon said instrument was admitted to Probate as fully proven to be the last Will and Testament of A. C. Harding deceased in the words following to wit Herrick Center, February the 12 188 [sic] [full year not listed just 188] This my last WIll and Testament I will and Bequeath to Effie F Espy six Hundred Dollars and I also Will and Bequeath to Ally May Tiffany two Hundred and I also Will and Bequeath to Capsius M. Harding the Remaining part after the support of Elmina Harding my Widow as long as she requires the asssistance from the estate. This my last bequeath A. C. Harding Wintess E. L Avery U. W.
