A. Weston and M.E. Weston, the subscribing witnesses to the said Instrument of Writing, who being duly sworn according to law did say that they were present and saw and heard the said Amos Mead sign, seal, publish, pronounce and declare the said Instrument of Writing as and for his Last Will and Testament, and at the time of his so doing, he was of sound and disposing mind and memory to the best of their knowledge and belief: Whereupon, the said Instrument of Writing was duly admitted to Probate as fully proven to be the Last Will and Testament of Amos Mead, deceased, and so in the words following to wit: I, Amos Mead, of the Township of Brooklyn, County of Susquehanna and the state of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory and understanding do make and publish this my Last Will and Testament, hearby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofor made. I give and bequeath to my son, William Mead, the sum of Two Hundred Dollars. I give and bequeath to my son, John Mead, the like sum of Two Hundred Dollars. I give and bequeath to my son Samuel Mead the like sum of Two Hundred Dollars. I give and bequeath to my son, Mordeca Mead, the sum of Two Hundred Dollars. I give and bequeath to my daughter, Salina McConnell the annual interest of the sum of Two Hundred Dollars, which interest is to be paid to her, my said daughter Salina, in each year from my decease, during the natural lifetime of my said daughter, Salina McConnell. I give and bequeath to my daugther, Catherine Jane Force, the sum of Two Hundred Dollars. I give and bequeath to my grand son, William Cox, the son of my deceased daughter, Mary Amelia Cox, the annual interest of the sum of Fifty Dollars to be paid to him my said grandson (by my Executor) in each year after my decease during the time of five years and not longer. I give and bequeath to my granddaughter, 364 S U S Q U E H A N A N N A C O U N T Y, SS. Camie Cox, the sum of Fifty Dollars, but not to be paid to her till she shall arrive at the age of Twenty-one years. I give and bequeath to my grandson, Frank Cox, the like sum of Fifty Dollars, but not to be paid to him till he arrives at the age of twentyone years. I give and bequeath to my grandson, Virgil Cox, the like sum of Fifty Dollars, but not to be paid to him till he shall arrive at the age of twentyone years. I give and bequeath to Peter Brown, the grandson of my deceased wife, the sum of twenty Dollars, but not to be paid to him till he shall arrive at the age of twentyone years. I give and bequeath to Mordica Brown the like sum of twenty Dollars, but not to be paid to him till he is of the age of Twentyone years. I give and bequeath to Julia Ann Mead, wife of my son William, for her care and kindness to me the sum of Fifty Dollars. And I do hearby constitute and appoint my son, William Mead, Executor, of this my Last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I, Amos Mead, the Testator, have to this my Will set my hand and seal this Twelfth day of June in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and EightyTwo.
