E. Ryan and Thomas Lynch the subscribing witness to the said instument of writing who, being duly sworn according to law, did saythat they were present ans saw and heard the said Jeremiah Ryan, sign, seal publish, reounce and declare the saidinstrument of writing as and forhis last Will and Testament, and that at the time of his doing he was of sound and disposing mind and memory, to the best of their knowledge and belief. Whereupon the said instrument of writing was admitte to probate as duly proven to be the last Will and Testament of Jeremiah Ryan deceased and is in the words following to wit: Knowall men by these presents that I, Jeremiah Ryan of Apolocan Township, in the County of Susquehanna and the State of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory and understanding do publish and declare this to bemy last Will and Testament and do hereby revoke any and all Wills by one made at any time prior t the date of these presents, First, I bequeath my soul to God and my body to the earth. Second, I order that my body be buried in the Roman Catholic Cemetery of Friendsville and according to the rites of the Holy Catholic Church, and in a manner corresponding to my situation in life. Thirdly, my Will is that all my just debts and funeral charges shall by any Executors hereinafter incurred be paid out of my personal property as soon after my decease as shall by these to be found convienent. Fourth, I give to my beloved wife Catherine Ryan, the uise of my real and personal Estate for and during her natural life providing that she remains my widow. And after her death or marriage to go to my sons Jeremiah and William, if living. Share and share alike to their heirs and assigns for and former. said real Estate consists of the farm of land now occupied by me in Apolocan Township, Susquehanna County, State of Pennsylvania, by paying to my sons, Edward( acutally should be Edmund), Timothy, Anthony and John Ryan, one dollar and fifty cts. Each and to my daughters Catherine Taylor and Mary Ryan, one dollar and fifity cts each to be paid without interest, on the first day of April, A.D. 1880. And to my daughter Margaret One Hundred dollars, to be paid without interest on the first day of April A.D. 1877. And One hundred dollars to each of my children Ellie, Alizabeth, Anna and James Ryan, to be paid as they become of age without interest. Fifth,I appoint Patrick Walsh, William Hartigan of Apolacon Township, Susquehanna County, State of Pennsylvania. Executors of my last Will and Testament in writing whereof, I have hereinset my hand and seal this seventeenth day of March A.D. 1871 Witness William Ragan Signed, sealed, published and declared by the said Jeremiah Ryan as his last Will and TEstament in presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of one another have hereto affixed our names as witnesses. Ryan Thomas Lynch Patrick Walsh and William hartigan Executors of Will of Jeremiah Ryan dec'd And now to with Dec. 28, 1875, Letters Testament were in due form of law granted unto Patrick Walsh and William Hartigan, the Excutors named in the Will and Testament of Jeremiah Ryan late of Apolacon is said county dec'd, upon all and singulad the goods and chattels, rights and credits which ere of the said deceased. The ssaid Patrick Walsh and William Hartigan having first been duly sworn and the good davit of Catherine Ryan duly filed: fixing the date of the death of the deceasedon the 2d day of Oct A.D. 1875, in about 5 o'clock AM.
