D. 1884 was presented for probate an instrument of writing purportng to be the last will and testament of Dexter Washburn late of the Twp of Jackson in said County deceased, and at the same time came Samuel Washburn and Harriet Washburn the subscribing witnesses to the said instrument of writing who being duly sworn according to law did say that they were present and saw and heard the said Dexter Washburn sign, seal, publish, pronounce and declare the said instrument as and for his last will and testament and at the time of his so doing he was of sound and disposing mind and memory to the best of their knowledge and belief Whereupon said Instrument of writing was duly admitted to probate as fully proven to be the last will and testament of Dexter Washburn, deceaed, and is the following words to wit: Will of Dexter Washburn Know all men by these presents that I dexter Washburn of Jackson Township in the County of Susquehanna and State of Pennsylvania, yeoman being of Sound mind and disposing memory do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time heretofore made. And as to my worldly estate and all the property real, personal or mixed of which I Shall die seized and possessed or to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decese I devise bequeath and dispose thereof in the manner following to wit My will is that all my just debts and funeral Expenses Shall by my Executors hereinafter named be paid out of my Estate as soon after my decease as shall by them be found convenient Item: I give devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Abbie Washburn all my property personal real and mixed, that I may be possessed of at the time of my demise not otherwise disposed of in this my will, to have and to hold the same during her natural life. And at her my said wifes death all the property hereby devised and bequeathed to her as aforesaid or so much thereof as my then remain unexpended I give and devise unto my Children in manner following. To my daughter Sarah J. Vosburg fifty dollars to be paid witin one year after all debts and all funeral expenses have been settled To my daughter Nancy A. Foster fifty dollars in one year after the payment of the first bequest To my daughter Jemima O. Baldwin fifty dollars to be paid two years after paying the first bequest To my daughter Lucy A. Stevens fifty dollars three years after the payng of the first bequest To my daughter Clara M. Washburn and my son Byroon H. Bashburn I give and bequeath the remainder of all my property personal real and mixed to have and to hold the same share and share alike Lastly I appoint Byron H. Washburn and Clara M Washburn to be Executors of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I Dexter Washburn the testator have to this my will written on one sheet of paper set my hand and seal this nineteenth day of July A.
