The Agitator.: (Wellsborough, Tioga County, Pa.) May 24, 1865
Deserters. 
The term of the President’s amnesty proclamation in reference to those individuals
who ran away from the draft, has expired. Such as have not reported can now report
and take their discharge from the service, without other punishment than
disfranchisement, the which is imposed by statute. Rather costly skedaddling.
