 The agitator.: (Wellsborough, Tioga County, Pa.): September 16, 1863
In Charleston, on the 9th inst., of typhoid fever, Mr. Chauncey Dartt, son of Justus
Dartt, in the 48th year of his age. The deceased has been a member of the M. E.
Church between 30 and 35 years, and maintained a faithful, consistent, Christian
character. By this dispensation of Divine Providence, his companion has lost a kind
husband, his children (seven in number) an exemplary affectionate parent and
community of a worthy useful member. His funeral was attended on the 11th instant,
by a large circle of mourners and friends, and a discourse preached by J. Ingerick…
