Hulslander, late private in Co. C, 30th Reg’t. N. Y. S. Vol., aged 25 years and 17 days. William feeling that it was his duty, to lend a helping hand to his country in its strife with traitors, volunteered in September, 1861. While on the Peninsula before Richmond, disease came upon him, after causing months of suffering has laid him low.
