 The agitator.: (Wellsborough, Tioga County, Pa.): September 11, 1856
In Brookfield, Tioga Co., Pa., on the 8th of August, Mrs. Mary Ellen, wife of Dr.
Geo. W. Northup, in the 29th year of her age… In early life she had become a member
of the Presbyterian church, and among the last public acts of her life, was her
uniting with her husband and two other persons, to form the First Presbyterian
Church of Brookfield, a few months previous to her death…
