John McPherson Assignment to William Hayes Know all men by these present, that I John McPherson of Union Township Union County Pennsylvania for and in consideration of the sum of Two Hundred and Seventy Dollars to me in hand paid by William Hayes of the Borough of Lewisburg County aforesaid I do hereby assign set over and transfer unto the said William Hayes and to his heirs and assigns forever all that the one tenth part of that certain tract of land situate in Buffalo Township in said County bounded by lands of Charles Beyer, Lenard Wolfe, Abram Brown, A Graham and others, now in the occupancy of Israel Zentmeyer containing sixty five acres more or less and I do hereby warrant and defend the said one tenth part of the said tract of land unto the said William Hayes and his heirs and assigns against me the said John McPherson and his heirs and all every person claiming under him his heirs the same lawfully Witness my hand and seal Sept the 29 A.D. 1836 John McPherson ssWitness present James F.
