In the name of God, Amen: I, SAMUEL BENNAGE of White Deer Township, County of Union, and State of Pennsylvania, being weak in body but of sound mind, memory and understanding, Blessed be God for the said do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following, to wit: hereby revoking all former wills by me made. First: I commend my soul to God who gave it and my immortal body to the earth. I desire that my body be buried in a decent and christian like manner at the diserition of my executors hereinafter named, and to such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me with in life I give and dispose of the same in the following manner, to wit: First: I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife SUSANNAH BENNAGE my plantation I live on in the township of White Deer County and State aforesaid, adjoining lands of PETER KLAPS heirs EDWARD and LEVI RAUCH (could be RANCH) and others together with all my personal property of whatever nature to be subject to the payment of all my just debts and funeral expenses and subject to the conditions of the legacy herein mentioned. Second: I bequeath to my daughter EVA, wife of JOHN BUCK (BUGH), the south end of lot No. forth four in Lockport Township, Niagara County and State of New York. Third: I bequeath to my son ADAM G. BENNAGE distant side of lot No. Six in Pendleton Township, Niagara County, State of New York of which he has possession. Fourth: I give and bequeath to my daughter ELIZABETH, wife of GEORGE DERSHAM the west side of lot No. six of which he now has possession lying in Pendleton Township, Niagara County, and the State of New York. Fifth: I give and bequeath to my daughter MARY wife of HENRY BUCK (BUGH) the east side of lot No. eight, lying Pendleton Township, Niagara County, and State of New York of which he now has possession. Sixth: I give and bequeath to my daughter SUSANNAH wife of SOLOMON DIETRICH the west end of Lot No. eight in Pendleton Township, Niagara County and State of New York of which he now has possession. Seventh: I give and bequeath to my daughter SARAH wife of SAMUEL GOODLANDER the lot lying in White Deer Township, County of Union, and State of New York and three lots situated in New Columbia all of which is in his possession. I further bequeath to MARY wife of AUGUSTUS SKEINMEIZ one share of the Milhre Bridge Stock Co. and five dollars ..... .... only to be paid after my decease by my executors. I further desire that my son JOHN O. BENNAGE shall live in my old homestead in White Deer Township, Count of Union and State of Pennsylvania with my beloved wife SUSANNAH. Should my wife get feeble so as not to be able to help herself, I desire that JOHN O. BENNAGE to get and find a good nurse to take care of her as long as she lives and it is my desire that JOHN O. BENNAGE and his wife are to use my wife well and to comfort her as well as they can. Further, I bequeath to my son JOHN O. BENNAGE after the death of my wife SUSANNAH my old homestead situate in White Deer Township, County and State aforesaid, containing eighty seven acres at the rate of fifty dollars per acre first deducting therefrom twenty four hundred and fifty dollars to equalize him with the rest of the heirs. I desire after my death that he JOHN O. BENNAGE shall leave all the proceeds of the farm untill it falls in his hands after the death of my wife SUSANNAH and further I desire after the death of my said wife that my executors dispose of all my goods and chattel to the best advantage and convert it into money and pay share and share alike, to wit: ADAM G. BENNAGE, EVA intermarried to JOHN BUCK, MARY intermarried to HENRY BUCK, ELIZABETH intermarried to GEORGE DERSHAM, SUSANNAH intermarried to SOLOMON DIETRICH, SARAH intermarried to SOLOMAN GOODLANDER and JOHN O. BENNAGE and further I desire and appoint my friends JOHN O. BENNAGE and JOHN DOTESINAN my executors of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I hereby interchangeably set my hand and seal this Sixth day of August One Thousand eight hundred and sixty two. SAMUEL BENNAGE (L.S.) WEIHEL Reg'r and forsaid County personally appeared before me JOHN DOTESINAN & JAMES WARSHELL subscribing witnesses to the forgoing will who after being duly swarn according to law depose and say that they were personally present and say and heard SAMUEL BENNAGE the testator sign, seal, publish and decalre the forgoing instrument of writing as and for his last will and testament. That at the time of sodoing ne was of sound mind, memory and understanding as deponents believe, that they signed their names as witnesses to the same at his request and in his presence and within the presence of each other, said chatelie names JOHN DATESINAN & JAMES WARSHELL are of deporents own handwriting JOHN DALESINAN JAMES WARSHELL Signed & subscribed the day and year aforesaid before me E. GULETIUS Register for the probate of wills and granting letters of Administration re in and for the County aforesaid dohereby certify that I have compared the foregoing copy of the last will and testament of SAMUEL BENNAGE, late of the State and County aforesaid deceased together with the decree admitting same to probate and the proofs taken therein with the original record thereof same remaining in this office and have found the same to be a correct transcript therefore and of the whole ofsuch original record. Intestamony whereof I leave hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said Register's Court at Lewisburgh this 9th day of April A.D. 1885 H. E.
