Deed Estate of James SCOTT TO Alexander SCOTT We James SCOTT & Jane his wife John SCOTT and Margaret his wife, William SCOTT & Archibald JAMISON & Margaret his wife all of Scrubgrass Township Venango County & State of Pennsylvania as well for and in consideration of the sum of one Dollar to us in hand paid by the hand of Alexander SCOTT of the same place aforesaid at and before the sealing and delivery hereof. We do hereby as forever other good causes and valuable considerations we hereunto specially moving. Have remised released quit claimed and forever discharged and by these presents for us our heirs executors and administrators do remise release quit claim and forever discharge the said Alexander SCOTT his heirs executors and administrators and every of them of and from all and all manner of actions and actions cause or causes of action for any defects in James SCOTTŐs last will & testament late of Scrubgrass Venango County, decŐd, (if any there be) especially respecting the bequeath made to the said Alexander SCOTT respecting the want of the records (and to his heirs and assigns) in the bequeath to his son Alexander respecting his land or otherwise howsoever and on compliance of an amicable agreement of the aforesaid parties this day entered into respecting the said last will and testament of the said James SCOTT decŐd we ever had now have or which we ever have for, upon or by reason of any matter cause or thing whatsoever from the beginning of anything respecting the said last will & testament as aforesaid to the day of the date of these presents. In Witness whereof we have hereunto set out hands & seals the fourteenth day of Novemnber one thousand eight hundred & thirty four. They the said Jane SCOTT, Margaret SCOTT & Margaret JAMISON being all of proper age and apart from their said Husbands by me examined acknowledged the same to be their voluntary act and deed.
