Funeral services for Mrs. Ann Pidgeon Cann, 87, widow of William H. Cann, will be held at 11 AM Monday at the Osenider Funeral Home. Rev F H Andrus, Pastor of the Baptist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Cann was found dead in her home, 49 Halyday St., about 9:30 AM Friday by her daughter, Mrs. Annie Pruin. She had been in ill health for some time. Death evidently was due to a heart attack. Mrs. Cann was born December 1, 1845 at Collumpton, near Exeter, Devonshire, England. She was a resident of Oil City for more than 40 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was the mother of six children, two of whom survive, William A. Cann, Cranberry, and Mrs. Annie Pruin, Oil City. One brother, William Pidgeon, Fairport, NY, four grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren also survive. Additional Comments: The obituary states she was a member of First Baptist Church which is in error. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
