b. in West Monterey 20 May 1924; m. Mary Alice Daubenspeck, who survives, 28 Jun 
1948; WWII veteran, Navy; ch: Diana Keefer McLucas, David G.; sibs: Jane Brooks; 
William, James; d. 5 May 2009 in Butler, Pa.; bur. West Monterey Cemetery.
