  Franklin News Herald, Venango County, Pennsylvania, January 8, 1960

  Mrs. George J. Mihleder
  
  Mrs. Elizabeth S. Mihleder, 81, widow of George J. Mihleder, of 104 Second 
  Avenue, Bleakley Hill, died in the Franklin Hospital at 6 a.m. today.  
  
  Mrs. Mihleder, a Bleakley Hill, resident for more than 50 years, had been in 
  ill health for several years.  She was a patient in the hospital three weeks 
  prior to her death.  
  
  She was born in Mercer County, Aug. 29, 1878, a daughter of the late James and 
  Catherine Scott.  
  
  She was united in marriage with George J. Mihleder, who died Feb. 18, 1936.
  
  Mrs. Mihleder was a member of the First Evangelical United Brethren Church, 
  attending faithfully as long as her health permitted.
  
  Surviving are the following children:  Miss Mildred Mihleder, at home; Mrs. 
  John (Georgie) Eagles, John and Scott Mihleder, and Mrs. Harry (May) 
  Shuffstall, all of Franklin; and Mrs. Marion (Betty) Densmore, of 
  Pleasantville.  
  
  Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, and a brother J.J. Scott of Franklin.  A 
  son Charles, preceded her in death.  
  
  The body was removed to the Buchanan-Schmidt Funeral Home where friends may 
  call starting this evening and where the family will receive friends 7 to 9 
  p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.  
  
  Services will be conducted in the funeral home Monday at 1:30 p.m.  The Rev. 
  Arthur T. Moffat, pastor of the First Evangelical United Brethren Church, will 
  officiate and interment will be made in the Franklin Cemetery.
