  George T. Pruin (1870-1930)

Death Date  Oct 5, 1930  Oil City, Venango County, PA

      George T. Pruin, aged 60 years, resident of 
1124 East Second St. died at the Oil City Hospital at 
10:50 o’clock Sunday night following an illness of
several days with heart trouble.

     Mr. Pruin was born in Germany on July 20, 1870, 
and came to the United States when he was 14 years of age.  
He had resided in Oil City for many years and for the 
past 10 years had been employed as a laborer at the Oil 
Well Supply Company.

    The deceased is survived by his wife, formerly 
Anna E. Cann, to whom he was married in 1907, and by 
two brothers, John and Milard Pruin, of Iowa.

      Funeral Services will be conducted at Osenider Chapel 
at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon with  the Rev. O. C. Jones, 
Paster of Trinity M.E. Church, officiating.  
Interment will be made in Grove Hill Cemetery.
