Died April 17th, in Richland Twp., Venango County, Pa., aged 74 years. Mrs. Ritchey
was born in Cumberland County, Pa. At an early age she removed with her parents to
Butler County, in the same state. In 1808 she was married to Mr. James Ritchey, with
whom she passed many happy years. She made a profession of religion, under the
ministry of Father McGarragh, more than forty years ago…  Her aged companion
survives. Alone he must continue his journey. But he knows that he will soon finish
his pilgrimage; and he has the precious hope that he will soon meet the friend of
his youth and the companion of his old age, in that blessed world where youth is
immortal, and where the pang of separation is never felt.
