  Leader Vindicator 
  Mrs. Amanda Francis Seward of North Franklin, Pa., died of Cancer on Friday,
  July 23.  She was born Oct 8, 1865, and was 60 years, 9 months and 15 days old
  at the time of her death.
  	
  On April 2, 1888 she was united in marriage to Geo. W. Sowers.  She was a
  daughter of Isaac and Susanna Lerch Motter.
  	
  Deceased is survived by her husband, one son, Willis of Detroit, and one
  daughter Mrs. H. Collier of Harrisburg.  She is also survived by two sisters and
  one brother, namely, Mrs. S. A. Stunkard and Mrs. W. T. Smith, both of Kansas,
  and S. A. Motter, also of Kansas.
  	
  She was a member of the Evangelical church of North Freedom and the funeral
  services were held at the church, July 15, and were conducted by her Pastor,
  Rev. W. M. Minerd.  Interment, under the direction of H. H. Sloan of Hawthorn,
  was made in the Bethlehem Lutheran cemetery near Ohl.
  	Dearest mother, thou hast left us,
  Here thy loss we deeply feel;
  But ‘tis God who hath bereft us,
  	He can all our sorrows heal.
