First I desire to be decently buried & next I desire that all my honest debts be paid afterwards what remains of my Estate & Effects I bequeath & dispose of in the manner following. I will that all my property real & personal be & remain for the Support of my dear wife during her lifetime & I will that if my Son Armstrong D. McQuaid Shall take care of & Support her his mother during her lifetime & keep her comfortably while She lives that at her death, that he my said Son Armstrong D. McQuaid by paying to each of my children his brother & Sisters one dollar Except my youngest daughter Mary Jane to whom he after giving her bed & bedding Shall pay to her fifty dollars in Stock or money as may be most convenient. I further will to my Son Jesse one cow or the price of the Same. I have heretofore given to my Son John my carpenter tools I will that after my Son Armstrong D. McQuaid Shall have complied with the above will that all that remain of said effects both real & personal Shall fall to him his heirs & assigns for his proper use & benefit & I hereby disanull all former will & bequests by me heretofore in anywise left or made declaring ratifying & confirming this & no other to be my last will & testament & I hereby appoint B. A Plumer Executor of this my last will & testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand & Seal this twentieth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and fifty.
