The "Progressive Brethren" church was later renamed to Highland Brethren Church and is considered a separate denomination -- although the families split from Ten Mile Church of the Brethren originally and even though these 2 churches have shared preachers/pastors for a long time (as they still do today). This data can be found in the genealogy section of the Citizen’s Library in Washington PA. The information on the burials was submitted by Roberta Wilkinson and taken from Volume 1#3, page 248 of the Garber Historical and Genealogical records by Clark N. Garber – 1939.
