All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Muriel Sonne cgsonne@yahool.com June 5, 2012, 6:20 pm Written: October 18, 1823 Recorded: November 24, 1823 Book 2G, p. 323 Susan Crow to William Crow This Indenture made this 18th day of October in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred & twenty three between Susan Crow of Washington County and State of Pennsylvania of the one part and William Crow of the same County and State of the other part, Witnesseth that the said Susan Crow for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred and ten dollars in hand paid to the said Susan Crow by the said William Crow do grant bargain sell and convey unto the said William Crow his heirs and assigns the one undivided third part of the following tracts of land the first it being the same tract of land owned By Laurence Crow Sen and by reason of his death John Crow being one of the heirs having become possessed of the same and at the death of the said John Crow the said Susan being one of three heirs left by the said John Crow she became possessed of the one third of the aforesaid tract, which she conveys to the said William Crow forever with all its appurtenances thereon to belonging for the boundaries thereof more particularly to shew refer to the Original patent & to the division made by the heirs of Laurence Crow dec and recorded in the Office of the recorder for the County of Washington Pennsylvania the aforesaid tract adjoins the land of William Huggins John Nixon & Lawrence Crow part of the same survey also one other tract containing thirty nine acres it being the tract allowed to Ruth Crow one of the heirs of Laurence Crow dec’d and at the death of the said Ruth the said John Crow became possessed of the one sixth part of the aforesaid thirty nine acres and by the death of the aforesaid John Crow the said Susan became possessed of the one third part of the said John Crows interest which she sells & conveys unto the said William Crow forever, To Have and to Hold all the above described tracts or parcels of land unto the said William Crow his heirs and assigns forever the title thereof the said Susan Crow for herself her heirs she warrants to the said William Crow his heirs and assigns forever against the claim or claims of any portion of persons legally claiming the same In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this day and date above written.
