Report of the Visiting Committee, House of Refuge of Western Pennsylvania:
Burm (?) Green, aged 16, committed by John Grayson, Justice of the Peace of the 
Borough of Washington, Washington County, on the oath of Thomas M. Hale & 
Samuel M. McFarland for vicious conduct.  The father is in the army and the 
stepmother incapable to take care of him in consequence of moral deportment.  
Consider him a fit subject.
