Came before me the Subscriber one of the Justuses of the peace for the County aforesaid Andrew Pease & being Duly Sworn Deposeth and sayth, that he was present when Robart Gibson Hired Stephen Burcom to sarve as a substitute in Capt. Samuel Shannan's Company to be stationed at the Mingo Botttom, that Said Gibson agreed to give the said Burcom Three pounds that Said Gibson was to have the publick pay. ANDREW PASS.
