Mr. Brenizer had apparently been in good health yesterday, but was taken ill during the night, his death occurring before morning. He had intended to visit with his mother, Mrs. Huldah J. Brenizer, owner of the Brenizer Hotel, yesterday, but the heavy snowfall made him abandon this intention. Mr. Brenizer was born and raised in Ligonier where for a time, he acted as manager of the hotel owned by his mother. About 15 years ago he moved to Bentleyville, where be started the Bentleyville Hardware Company Store. He was still running the hardware store at the time of his death. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary G. Brenizer; a son, Harry Jr., a student at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Mich.; his mother, Mrs. Hulda J. Brenizer; one sister, Mrs. May Buchanan, of Scranton; and one brother, J. Hargnett Brenizer, of Ligonier. He was a member of Ligonier Lodge No. 331 of the F. and A. M., and be longed to several Pittsburgh automobile clubs. Latrobe Bulletin Tue, Mar 20, 1928 Services for the late Harry Brenizer, former Ligonier resident, who died suddenly yesterday, will be held at 10 o’clock Wednesday morning, at his late home in Bentleyville. The remains will then be brought to Ligonier overland, where services to be conducted by the Ligonier Lodge No. 311, F. and A. M., will be held at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, at the Brenizer Hotel, in charge of the Rev. H. F. Cost, pastor of the Ligonier Presbyterian church. Interment will be made in the Ligonier Valley cemetery. Mr. Brenizer was a director in the Farmers and Miners Bank, of Bentleyville, and was secretary of the Bentleyville Coal and Fuel Company. He was one of the outstanding citizens of Washington county, where he started in the hardware business after leaving Ligonier, about 15 years ago.
