Jennet Caldwell Dias, aged 82, wife of the late McCandless Dias, died at the
home of her daughter, Mrs. Lillian Shetler, in Pittsburgh, yesterday morning at
2:50 o'clock. Mrs. Dias was a resident of this city for more than 60 years,
removing to Pittsburgh about 20 years ago. She was a member of the Primitive
Church of Christ. Surviving with the daughter are four sons, Herbert A., of
Flushing, O., James D. and Laurence C., of Erie, and Francis V., of Pittsburgh:
17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held
Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Church of Jesus Christ in charge of the
Reverend William H. Cadman, pastor. Interment will take place in the Monongahela
cemetery.
