Jackson, who formerly conducted the merchant tailor business in Ligonier, but who is a member of the Thirty-second Regiment of regulars Co. D, being a sergeant in that company, is on his way home at present, being discharged on account of sickness. The Ligonier Echo Wed Jan 16, 1901 Page 1 Chauncey T. Jackson. Word was received Monday evening of the death of Chauncey T. Jackson, on board transport Thomas, on his return from the Philippines, notice of which appeared in last week's ECHO. The body will be brought to Canonsburg for burial. Jackson's home was at Canonsburg and he was on his way there when death overtook him. He had been granted a discharge. He served in the Thirty-second regiment.
