Died February 10th, 1864, Mr. John Norris, at his residence in North Strabane Twp.,
Washington County, Pa. Mr. Norris was a descendant of one of the oldest families in
this region. In the year 1850 he made a profession of his love to the Saviour and
devotion to his cause, in Chartiers church, which profession he well maintained; and
he so far won the confidence of his brethren that, in the year 1860, he was elected
a Ruling Elder.
