Presbyterian banner. (Pittsburgh, Pa.) 1860-1898: February 25, 1863
Died July 31st, at his late residence, in Washington County, Pa., Mr. John
Salisbury, in the 48th year of his age. The deceased was born in Brown County, Ohio,
and remained there until about the year 1855, when he removed to Washington County,
Pa. When quite a youth, he assumed the Christian profession in the Old School
Presbyterian, congregation of Red Oak, Brown County, Ohio, and during his whole
life, though he moved in the humbler walks, he was careful in every way to adorn his
profession...
