 Presbyterian banner. (Pittsburgh, Pa.) 1860-1898: October 21 1863
Died on the 8th of September, in the Newton University Hospital, Baltimore, of a
wound received in the battle of Gettysburg, Mr. Robert Virtue, in the 25th year of
his age… His flesh sleeps, with his kindred dust, in the Cemetery of Cross Creek,
Pa., in hope of a glorious resurrection.
