City police reported the mishap occured just south of the Wylie Avenue Crossing. City patrolman, James Marlon, was summoned to the scene by persons on their way to work, but stated that he did not learnjust who had discovered Weimer's body, there apparently having been no witnesses to the accident. Investigation revealed that when struck by the locomotive, Weimer head was lying across a rail The engine decapitated the victim. The body was removed to the Abel Funeral Home, Jefferson Avenue. Weimer was the son of Earl Weimer and was born in Washington. He was formerly employed by the Hazel Atlas Glass Company. He is survived by the follow- ing brothers and sisters: Harold Weimer, Mrs. Raymond Hughes, Earl Weimer, Jr. Leroy Weimer, Oliver Weimer, Mrs. Joseph Graff, and Grace Weimer, all of Washington. Funeral services will be conducted from the home of his sister, Mrs. Raymond Hughes, 204 East Chestnut Street, Wednesday at 2 oclock. Burial will be in Washington Cemetary.
