Thomas Heatheral Young son of Thomas Young & Charlotte Smith (Jewett) Young
husband of Mary Alfretta (Pyle) Young.

After having served in WWI,
Thomas enlisted in the US Merchant Marine at New York, NY at the age of 46.
He served in the Merchant Marines during WWII.

10/22/1943 departed from Boston, MA aboard the SS Francisco Coronado, Hull # 
1748, official # 242786, ship launched from shipyard in Oregon 1943.
04/07/1944 discharged at Norfolk, VA.

05/25/1944 departed form Portland, ME aboard the SS John Chester Kendall, Hull 
# 3026, official # 245578, ship launched from shipyard in New England 1944.
08/11/1944 discharged at New York, NY.

05/02/1945 departed New York, NY aboard the SS Arthur L. Perry, Hull # 809, 
official # 243825 ship launched from shipyard in New England 1943.
03/30/1946 discharged at San Francisco, CA.

Thomas served 10/13/1943 - 03/30/1946.
