All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/washington/ _______________________________________________ In the name of Almighty God, Amen, I Samuel Hastings of Amwell Township, in the county of Washington and state of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory, and understanding, and in moderate health, do make and publish this - my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at anytime futherfore made to such date, as it hath pleased God to entrust me with, I dispose of the same as follows "to will". First, I give and bequeath to my daughter LUCINDA ZEDIKER , my real estate which consists of 25 acres of land, to have and to hold, said__________ and piece of land to her and heirs of her body forever. Second, I hereby direct that the balances or remainder of the real estate be sold, and after all my debts are paid, the proceeds of the same to be equally divided among my heirs and loyal representitives. Third, I give and bequeath to my daughter Lucinda all the personal property - both in the house and out of doors. Lastly, I appoint David L. Reynolds the exectuor of this - my last will and testament. In witness whereof I hereby set my hand and seal this 10th day of January. Day-Register for the probate wills and granting letters of Administration in and for said county - James Doak, on of the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing will of Samuel Hastings died, who after being qualified according to law dispose and _________ that he was present at the execution of the said wills, saw the testator sign the same, and at his request, and in his presence subscibed his name___as witness. Registers office April 16th A.D. 1875 Personally appeared James Doak, on of the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing last will and testament of Samuel Hastings deceased, under his solomn oath did say that he was present and did see and hear Samuel Hastings, the testator therein named, sign, seal, publish, and declare the same as and for his last will and testament.
