  MRS ADAM J. HARTWICK
  
  	Mrs. Bessie C. Hartwick, 81, widow of the late Adam J. Hartwick, who 
  died in  1942, died Wednesday noon, Sept 5, 1951, at the home of her daughter 
  Miss Marjorie Hartwick, Seelyville, following a lengthy illness.  A former 
  resident of Clarks Summit, she had made her home at Ridgefield Park N. J. with 
  a daughter Mrs. Verna Stanlick, for the past ten years.  She came to Seelyville 
  on a vacation in May and became ill.  She was born August 22, 1870, in Justice, 
  Pa., daughter of the late Stephen Cahoon and Esther Wickizer.  She was married 
  on June 30, 1890, in Scranton.  She is a former member of Clarks Summit 
  Presbyterian Church and of Naomi Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, Ridgefield 
  Park, N.J.  She is survived by two sons, Robert, of Fair Lawn N.J. and Harry, 
  of Athens; three daughters, Mrs Ethel Green, of Bernville, Mrs Verna Stanlick, 
  of Ridgefield Park N.J. and Miss Marjorie B. Hartwick, of Seelyville, six 
  grandchildren; one brother, William E. Cahoon, of Scranton, and one sister, 
  Mrs. Esther Northrop, of Sarasota, Florida.  Funeral services will be held rom 
  Brown Funeral Home Saturday at 2 PM. Interment will be in Clarks Green
