   Wayne Independent, Wayne Co, PA,  June 10, 1908
   Andrew Jackson Reed died at 6 o'clock Monday morning, June 8, 1908, at his home
   on Ridge Street, aged 75 years and 13 days. Deceased was born at ______ ______
   Palmyra Township, and on Feb. 26, 1861 was united in marriage to Miss Harriet
   Jones. He is survived by his wife and three daughters: namely: Miss Marietta at
   home; Mrs. Charles Goodman, Honesdale, and Mrs. William French, White Mills;
   also by two sisters, Mrs. Eliza J. Manaton and Mrs. Elmira Bowen, both of this
   place, and one brother, John L. Reed of Scranton. The funeral was held at his
   late home at 10:30 on Wednesday morning, Rev. Will H. Hiller officiating. He was
   a member of the M.E. church for thirty-six years. Interment will be made in
   Riverdale cemetery. When 12 years of age the deceased ______ ______ with his
   parents. He learned the carpenter's trade and after his removal to Honesdale in
   1890 he also followed his avocation wtih the D & H until about three years ago.
