    Mrs Tom Fries has brought out an old New Testament printed in Phila in 1809
  by & for W.W. Woodward, which has in it a 5 page list of subscribers among
  which are the names of Rev Archibald Alexander, Rev Isaac Anderson, Capt John
  Anderson, Wm Anderson, James Anderson, Rev John Anderson Col Alex Anderson Rev
  James Carnahan, Charles Elliott, Dr Jas E.B.

  family records which shows it to be the book of Michael Finley great
  grandfather of Mrs Tom Fries & has his record as follows:

    Michael Finley & Eleanor Elliott was married Aug 15, 1794.
      Their children are as follows:

    2. William Finley was born Apr 19, 1798
    3. John Evans Finley was born May 13, 1800
    4. Samuel Elliott Finley was born Jany 20, 1802
    5. Ebenezer Finley was born Dec 17, 1803
    6. Sally Finley was born Jany 21, 1806
    7. Robert Finley was born Feby 23, 1808
    8. Mary Finley was born Apr 14, 1810
    9. Michael Finley was born March 27, 1812
    10. Hannah Finley was born June 24, 1814
                      Deaths
    William Finley died Apr 23, 1804 aged 6 yrs 3 days
    Mary Finley died Aug 16, 1829 aged 19 yrs 4 mos 2 days
    Sarah Finley died Apr 7, 1832 aged 26 yrs 2 mos 17 days

    Hannah Finley died Mch 20, 1833 aged 18 yrs 9 mos & 4 days
    Eleanor Finley died July 12, 1834 in the 57th yr of her age

    Michael Finley & Polly Smith was married Feby 5th, 1835

     Harriet Robinson & Jessie Fries were married June
  2, 1858.  He was born Nov 20, 1826.  They had 5 children:

    3. Thomas Robinson Fries born Feby 23, 1864
    4. Martha Belle Fries born Mch 9, 1867 [twin]

    Thomas R. Fries & Bessie Gardner Finley were married in Rostraver Tp by Rev
  Chas A. Clark Dec 12, 1900.  She was born Sept 25, 1877 in Rostraver Tp
          Their children are:
    1. Jesse Russell Fries born Aug 31, 1901, died Mch 4, 1903
    2. Thomas Malcolm Fries born July 14, 1903
    3. Dorothy Maude Fries born June 3, 1905
    4. Kenneth Finely Fries born Feby 18, 1907
    5. Eliza Albertha Fries born Jany 19, 1909
