Brown buwbrown@comcast.net July 22, 2008, 5:37 pm Complaint made before Jacob Hoffer, Justice of the Peace of Westmoreland County, by Andrew Anderson, father of Algert Anderson. Andrew Anderson of Borough of S.E. Greensburgh deposes that Algert will not go to school, plays truant. He goes away from home frequently and does not come home for a week at a time, some nights he comes home at 11 and 12 o'clock at night and sometimes later. He rebels and refuses to do anything that I ask him to do. I do not know where he is and have not been able to find him since Saturday the 19 day of December 1896. Clara Anderson, the mother of sd Algert, says that he will not go to school. When I tell him to go to school, he will run away and not go to school and will tell me he was at school when he was not at school. When I want him to do some work for me he runs away. He comes home late at night. He has been away for 4 or 5 days and I do not know where he is. S.G. Scheible, a director in the East Greensburg School, deposes that this is the second winter that I have known that he does not go to school and know that he plays truant.
